Now I am in B.Tech 3rd year CSE and still not any programming language. How do I develop programming skills?

Learn only 1 or 2 Programming Language together not more than that.

Don’t compare your day 1 with someone’s day 2000.

Learn only 3 hours daily but it must be consistent.

This is a step wise solution for your problem do not skip any one of it.

You can learn any language c++ or python for placement & javascript for entrepreneurship, freelancing and placement.

Complete C++ in 15 days to 20 days according to your pace of learning

Start solving programming questions from very basics

What will be the output, Spot the error, Write a program to do this, Write a program to do that…..

Remember to use IDE to make and practice programs from the first day, you might think it is easy lets not program it on IDE but no write each and every program.

At least spend 2 hrs on laptop form starting day doing programming only without missing a single day.

This is all for 15–20 days.

Now after finishing this get this book its must order this book before so that it reaches you on time

Data Structure and Algo by Narasimha Karumanchi in c++ or python if you are learning python.

Now form day 20 to day 70 complete this book it will make your DS and Algo part strong.

Along with this do not leave practicing programming on Laptop daily for 2 hrs without missing a single day.

After completing DS Algo

Learn C++ STL it will take around 15 days to get good in it.

STL will help you in competitive programming.

After getting good in STL

Go to codechef or hacker rank ( any one only). I will recommend Hackerrank because it is easy in starting from codechef so you will not be demotivated.

And daily practice coding there. Solve all problems on hackerrank on c++, ds and algo then move on to codechef.

Programming is 30% learning and 70% practice.

From now, daily read and learn 3 hrs and practice for 2 hrs. I am sure you will have a bright future.

After all above is done 100% then only do what is given below…

After all the above is over try to learn python for around 30 days and then learn Machine Learning and after completing Machine Learning do some project in it some good project.

Or if you want to go in web development field then learn html, css and javascript and make 5 good websites on different topics.
